Ireland to be kicked out of Euro?

The headline grabs your attention I bet!

It’s unlikely to happen but as we stand today, the European commission has announced that Ireland is at risk of breaching the financial guidelines which govern the Euro-zone.

Under the Maastricht Treaty guidelines Eurozone members must ensure that their budget deficits do not exceed 3% of GDP.

Ireland’s is set to far exceed that in teh coming months.

Where is the Celtic tiger gone?
